EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Ian has more than 34 years’ general insurance experience with both international insurance broking firms and insurance companies. For the past 20 years he has worked in the corporate sector of the insurance industry.

Ian’s roles have ranged from broking, claims, and underwriting, to sales and management. Ian’s underwriting experiences have provided him with technical knowledge across a broad range of products. This extensive knowledge provides Ian with a competitive edge as a broker. His claims roles were invaluable as these developed effective communication skills whilst seeing firsthand the workings of various products within the applications of the Australian legal system.

Ian has a proven track record combining strong product knowledge with excellent negotiation skills to identify and maximise key coverages and deliver results in high-pressure, target-based environments.

Ian aims to provide not only financial risk solutions but also to assist in the growth and development of his clients’ businesses. This is achieved through the provision of flexible, economical, robust risk transfer solutions that are aligned with organisational long-term objectives.
